We choose them by finding the student who best displays the Sirius qualities, which are Spirit, Introspection, Responsibility, Imagination, Ubuntu, and Service. This student is announced monthly at the "All Team Meeting" and then the dog mascot, Star will live in the students home room for the rest of the month. Star was given his name because the sirius teachers give out stars to any student who has really shown one of these special characters in a superb way. Star is our mascot because he stands for all of these and is given to a student who has shown these characteristics in more than one way. This month Erin was chosen as our student of the month.
